in a writing mood

I've been in a writing mood more than an art mood lately. You'll see around 3 chapters posted in 1 month if you follow me on FF.net. if not you'll be missing out.

I'll try to get some drawings done here soon. Just been a long stressful month so far. Tied up at work way too much.

Wow... it's been awhile

Wow, it's been line 5 years I think since I last update this thing. I highly doubt anyone fallows this but if you do here's and update.

Cosplay business is going well and I'm looking into expanding that on my Etsy store. Hoping with the new influx of games that other weapons and items will present themselves as possible candidates for me to make. would love to buy a 3d printer for some of it. Currently have mostly Zelda stuff though I have made other things by request.

I'm also thinking of dabbling into smithing but I'm still unsure of that one for the moment. Start up costs are high and I'd rather try some other more simplistic ideas first.

I'm still doing jewelry though at a lesser volume as everyone and their mother is apparently doing that now.... and I prefer to do more custom items anyway.

Getting my workshop set up right now, just need to finish the lighting wiring and then hook it to the main box. Insulation will happen after I get power over there as its too hard to add with out it.

I'll try to do more blog posts as I get new items or try out new things. Hope you all have a great day. :D

Updates Galore

Hey everyone,
Just a small update for you all. I've been very busy with orders as of late, having 4 in the last week. I've got 4 swords and 2 shields to do. Yay! A nice change for the better in my business.

In other news I'm working on getting a few other things going as well. Got those medallions started and I'm half way done with a the sheath prototype.

I'm also working hard on getting new videos made and making them better and less amateurish. I will need a tripod and green screen though if I want to do some really nice videos.

I am working on my writing... though its very slow going. It's my hope that I get a new chapter up this month.

I'm also thinking of redoing my personal website soon. I haven't been doing much with it at all lately after joining DA and Etsy... but I really should regardless.

Changes

Well I've taken on a very challenging project thus far. I need to make a very custom master sword and shield. Plus paint the sheath this guy is making on his own and make a special sword belt for it; on top of that make the primary belt with pouches for him. So yeah 5 things for one person. I luckily have the free time for it right now. I don't have anything else to do and honestly... I don't have a job. I'm hoping to get the leather ready and the pouches made ahead of time. I can always sell them later if he doesn't buy them.

I also really need to touch up the special edition set I got back damaged form a stupid country that thought this was a weapon. Once its touched up I'll be able to sell it. Another project I'm working on is making a leather sheath for these swords.

Unfortunately it so hot and humid that the paint refuses to dry during the day so it leaves me evenings only for paint and days for leather. but I can't dye the leather because of the humidity... *sigh* the weather really isn't behaving for me.

Hey guys back from the dead here. after a very long hiatus I'm using this site once again. I just recently started using my YouTube account for my own uploads and got into making reviews.
In other news I'm running a small business on the side making custom LoZ swords and shields. Hoping to expand that but for now I must still keep a normal job as well. Still doing jewelry on the side as well, so don't worry jewelry fans. and for those who like my art I'm also still making art as well.
For those who like my fan fiction I will be getting back in the swing of things here and uploading some new chapters soon. so keep an eye out for those.

Its been awhile

Well its been a long while since i used this thing... don't use livejournal much either. alot has happened. i still sell jewelry and occasionally art. most of my art is for myself or gifts since most people don't want to pay for my art. apparently I'm not very good or something... who knows. done some computer upgrades and got another tablet, so i can do digital art much better now.

Working on a couple of posters for work, decorating the store. don't usually celebrate halloween since its a pagan holiday but i wanted to have some fun drawing. i decided to do better with my costume this year too. spent $60 or so in that. so i better be working so i can use it.

I usually have a bunch of money for the gem and mineral show but this year... i don't have much of anything when it comes to that. money's been really tight since Holt's being rebuilt, i hope they go back to their own store soon and stop stealing all our hours.
